Welcome to Sunshine Center!  

My name is Dr. Melissa Carver, and I am so excited to serve as the Principal of our early learning community.

Early childhood is a very special time in a child’s life, and I believe that young children learn best when they feel safe, loved, and encouraged to explore the world around them. At Sunshine Center, we focus on creating a joyful, caring environment where curiosity is celebrated and every child is supported as they grow socially, emotionally, and academically.

With 28 years of experience in education, I am passionate about partnering with families to support each child’s development. We believe learning happens through play, discovery, and meaningful relationships, and our dedicated teachers work hard each day to help children build confidence, independence, and a love of learning.

We value strong communication and family involvement, and we are honored to be part of your child’s early education journey. Please know that my door is always open—I welcome your questions, ideas, and conversations.
